Underwater Vines

Drawn to the most isolated part of the woods, Suki Suroda walks barefoot through the forest, wearing nothing more than a gown. She continues marching through the woods in a dazed state until she finally comes to a stop before a small body of water.

Called into the waters by an unknown presence, Suki strips away her gown and steps into the waters, lying on her back and floating, staring up at the foliage above her.

Under the surface of the water, vines begin emerge from the ground and slither towards Suki in a lifelike. They wrap around her limbs, dragging Suki down into the waters and subjecting her to their relentless torment.

Struggling towards the surface and gasping for air, Suki is still ensnared by the living roots and vines, suspended in the air as she witnesses the creature in command of the vines surfacing from the depths of the waters.
